Adan Morales Car Accident
We are saddened to report on the tragic car accident involving Adan Morales Garcia in Montgomery County, Maryland. Early Sunday morning, on southbound Interstate 270 just north of Montrose Road, Adan Morales Garcia, 40, of Germantown, unexpectedly ran onto the road and was struck by two vehicles, a Lincoln and a Volkswagen sedan.
Maryland State Police responded to the scene after receiving the distress call around 8 a.m. Despite their immediate efforts, Adan Morales Garcia succumbed to his injuries on-site. The circumstances that led him to venture onto the road remain unknown at this time.
The collision resulted in the closure of the southbound main lanes of I-270 between Route 28 and Montrose Road, as confirmed by Montgomery County police. However, we are relieved to inform you that all affected lanes were reopened by 1 p.m. on Sunday, according to the WTOP Traffic Center.
