An adult male was killed in a shooting incident that took place in a neighborhood close to downtown Vallejo on Saturday night. The Vallejo Police received a call reporting a shooting at around 8:53 p.m. on the 200 block of Maine St. When officers arrived at the location, they found an adult male who had been shot at least once. Medical personnel rushed to the scene, and the victim was taken to a local trauma center, where he was pronounced dead.
The Solano County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the identity of the victim, as they are still notifying the next of kin. Meanwhile, the motive and circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
