Andy Green Obituary

Andy Green passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, according to a statement posted on Facebook by Stockport Rugby Club.

The death of Andy Green, our club steward, has upset everyone at Stockport Rugby Club this morning.

“Andy was well known in the rugby community since he played the sport for a long time and served as a steward at Burnage Rugby Club for a long time before starting his position here at Headlands Road 18 months ago.

The club would like to express its sincere condolences to Andy’s family and friends at this difficult time. Andy will be sorely missed.

His death did not have a known reason.
